Bespoke whisky packaging for Ladyburn

With a requirement for bespoke whiskey packaging we were contacted by The Ladyburn Distillery, which was built by William Grant and Sons Ltd in 1966 and operated until 1975.  Now casks over 40 years matured have been bottled and released to much acclaim.  We worked with the team at William Grants designers at Threebrand to develop this beautiful luxury wooden box.

What better material than oak for luxury whisky packaging?  Here we have worked with the designers to blend a stain which fitted with their vision of something warmer than the traditional oak colours.  The dead matt lacquer on top kept a natural look but smooth and quality to the touch.  We kept the wood thick here to add weight and some gravitas to the feel.  On the front we’ve laser engraved and paint filled in both white and gold, and added an engraved brass plaque which is recessed flush to the face of the box.  Inside is finished to the same level of quality as the outside, with additional flourishes of luxury lining. A refreshed and luxury feel to a classic style of bespoke whiskey packaging.
